VRS continues to monitor all of our Community Living and Seniors Living residences by following BCCDC protocols at each of our sites. Our focus remains on minimizing our residents’ exposure to COVID-19, in every aspect of their daily living. In order to further contain the spread of the COVID-19 virus from entering our buildings, VRS is now implementing further restrictions on visitation.
Therefore effective immediately, no visitors will be allowed access into the buildings until further notice. We are sensitive to the separation this restriction causes our residents and their loved ones, but we believe this measure of protection is essential at this time to keep our residents safe with the continued spread of COVID-19 across the province. Some exceptions, which will be subject to screening before visitation, will be made for essential care and services at the discretion of the site General Manager.
Our team remains vigilant in our efforts and are doing everything we can to protect the health and safety of our residents, families, employees, suppliers and service providers.
